Final Post... (Blogger 2010-2018)

Hey, everyone. Recently, this blog has been pretty vacant for months. And today I have some news to share. This will be my final post on this blog. I have decided to fully migrate to my Tumblr blog for all my future KMR Studios work. So be sure to update your bookmarks. But don't worry. I will keep this page around for archival purposes as this was my first blog I've created and used since 2010. Should I need to migrate back to Blogger or elsewhere, be sure to follow me on my new blog and social media accounts for any updates. Until next time, this is Kyle R of KMR Studios signing off. RIP Vidme

Quick update, folks. As you may or may not have heard, Vidme has officially closed. As a result, I’ve closed my channel beforehand and my sketch videos are no longer available for viewing. Any art videos I decide to upload will be made exclusive to my Flickr page. I’m posted my old D.Va Chibi Photo Sketch video on their already and will eventually upload all of the videos I’ve previously posted on Vidme. That’s all for now. Until next time, this is KR of KMR Studios signing off.

KMR Studios now on DeviantArt & Tumblr!

After some much thinking, I've decided to branch KMR Studios into new territory. I've been doing some research into both DeviantArt & Tumblr for their pros and cons in order to decide which platform to choose. And after much consideration, I decided to... Well, why not let Decepticon Blitzwing from Transformers Animated say it best? "Ooohh, why not scan BOTH?" So, yeah. KMR Studios is officially on both DeviantArt & Tumblr. A little trivia for those who didn't know, I actually used to have a DeviantArt account in the early days of KMR Studios (back when it was still called KMR Illustration). But after one month, I decided to close it down. So 7 years later, I'm back on DeviantArt in a rebranded form! Just don't steal any of my art, DeviantArt folks, OK? As for Tumblr, I've been reading some stuff about said website and while I am aware that half of its user base are filled with SJWs, I decided to create a Tumblr page as a mini-b...

Update + Adam West Tribute (June 10, 2017)

Image
KR here! Back again with some minor updates. But first things first, new sketches! First up, Justice from the Guilty Gear series with a little Make America Great Again touch because why not? Everybody's doing it now. ;) Ice Bear from We Bear Bears And last but not least, a new piece for this week's Illustration Friday topic, "Skate!" For my next update, I'm currently on the fence about expanding my social media reach beyond what I normally use. Tumblr is currently piquing my interest, but if there are other good sites to check out, please let me know in the comments below! And finally, I'd like to end this update on a serious note. As you may or may not know, Adam West, who was best known for playing Batman in the self-titled 60's TV show along with a lot of other shows like Family Guy, has sadly passed away at the age of 88. As a tribute, I leave you all with these clips featuring some of Adam West's best moments from the 60's Batman ...

Update (June 4, 2017)

"Live from #Ottawa!" Just a little postcard from yours truly! ~KR (of KMR Studios) A post shared by KR (of KMR Studios) (@kmrstudios88) on May 11, 2017 at 6:22pm PDT What's up everyone? I recently went on a trip to Ottawa recently and I had an ABSOLUTELY awesome time there. While I sadly didn't see Prime Minister Trudeau so I could tell him to fix the economy so we can afford $60 games again rather than paying $90 plus tax (or that #Gamergate is not a hate crime against women), I did take in the sights and got to see the Parliament Buildings, the neat restaraunts in ByWard market area and the National Art Gallery. Also, did I mention that I went to the Ottawa ComicCon? No? Well, there you go. As for today's update, I thought I'd post a pilot comic called "Random Jokes N' Stuff from KR" which mainly consists of three jokes each week. The reason for this is since I wanted to focus more on my Creekdale Manor project, I don't have the t...
